We were driving down the road the other day and one of my boys asked me, "Mom, why is it that you drive on a parkway but you park in a driveway?" I had to laugh!

Staedtler - great customer service

A few years ago, while on vacation in Germany, I bought a few of the most fantastic mechanical pencils. This is definitely my favorite: Staedtler Triplus Micro Plus 0.5mm. It has to be the one that is all silver, not one with blue on it. Well, I can't find them in the USA and sent an email to Staedtler in Germany and guess what? They sent me a pencil from Germany. It was cheaper than flying to Germany for a pencil.

I love great customer service.

Log Cabin syrup

I am so very excited!!!! Log Cabin syrups are now making their syrups without high fructose corn syrup. As a matter of fact, they even have an article on their site about HFCS not being healthy.

Now, of course, I would prefer 100% pure maple syrup but I have at least one very picky eater in the house.
